Liberals, race-hustlers set to descend on Jena, Louisiana

By: C.Huffman “The Unreconstructed Southerner”

For the folks in Jena, LA that awful noise you hear outside your window right now is the dying howls of justice and common sense. The politically correct media and the thug known as Al Sharpton are screaming that justice hasn’t been served in Jena. They are screaming that once again racist white America has victimized the poor downtrodden minorities among us. Never mind the dismemberment of Channon Christian and Chris Newsome. Don’t worry about a minority crime rate that is totally disproportionate to their share of the population. No the story is that some poor minorities in Jena got their feelings hurt and that’s what truly matters now in America.

The story began in the schoolyard at Jena High School. According to sources some black school children violated an unspoken rule by sitting under a certain tree in the middle of the yard which was a hang out for the white kids. In response the next day some white kids hung 3 nooses in the tree. The students who hung the nooses were disciplined and suspended. Yet this was not enough for the black kids at school. NO, their feelings were hurt so they took action into their own hands without regards to the rules, without regards to the safety and tranquility of the school. Violent assaults were committed against white students both on and OFF campus. It all culminated when the so called “Jena 6″ assaulted Robert Barker and knocked him out while continuing to pummel him in his helpless state. The six assailants were properly charged with attempted murder given their repeated pummeling of Barker.

But then we must factor in white guilt and how every crime has a double standard. Were the roles reversed you would have never heard of this crime. One can imagine Al Sharpton going, well they deserved it. Instead every single person who promotes the Jena 6 and their cause is telling everyone that Robert Barker deserved to be assaulted. Because some white students played a victimless prank, Mr. Barker deserved to be beaten to a bloody pulp by 6 black students who should now be pardoned for their transgressions. Friends this is an outrage. How did we get to this point in America where a student going to school, to get an education can be beaten down and his assailants gain fame and recognition simply because of their skin color?

One realizes that the “civil rights” movement must be hard up for causes these days. The faces of black America are no longer Frederick Douglas, Booker T. Washington, and Martin Luther King. No, now the facts to celebrate are Tupac Shakur, the Notorious BIG, and the aptly named Ludacris. Instead of even attempting to put on an air of respectability and legality the modern movement embraces thugs, criminals, and the right to call each other ho’s and other colorful language as long as they are not passed over Caucasian lips. The Underground Railroad no longer leads north, instead it is a path littered with double standards, crimes left unpunished, and an all out assault on the culture we love and celebrate. We should all pray that justice is done and that the 6 are treated no differently than would anyone else. But for all of us not celebrating the cause of the Jena 6, let us think of Mr. Barker and stand for a cause where there was no crime at all.
